Choosing Your Reception Venue
When choosing your venue, I always tell my brides to take into consideration the amount of guest that will be in the space and the type of reception you want to fit into the space. For instance if you are wanting a seat-down dinner, but you choose a venue that doesn’t have a kitchen or prep area. It will very hard for your caterers to prep the food, if there isn’t an area to do so in.
It’s also good to have a wedding planner or someone in place to think about the logistics of the venue, a wedding planner will know exactly what you can or cannot do in a space.
I try to have my brides envision their reception and exactly what they see, so than we can choose a venue that will work for whatever you envision. I think brides want their guest to look back and enjoy everything about their reception, and not only think about not having a place to seat down. The reception should be comfortable and enjoyable for all of your guest.
