Coral + Navy Blue Wedding Inspiration
Choosing your wedding colors is an important step in the wedding planning process. The color combination must fit you and your fiancé style. As I’ve mentioned before, I love pairing colors together that complement and accent each other. Here is a color combination that I am loving right now!
Engagement Rings and Champagne
When you think about going to look or find your engagement ring, pure excitement comes over you. It’s such a fun and exciting experience. I had the pleasure of going with Sara, a fellow Nashville wedding planner to Diamond Week at King Jewelers to celebrate their 100th Anniversary.
I think my favorite was the “Bridal Playground”. It is a tray of rings used for soon-to-be brides to come in and try on rings. It’s the best idea, because you usually don’t know exactly what you want in a ring. Being able to try a couple rings on, you figure out what you like and don’t like.

We had so much fun trying on different rings.

We were even able to get a VIP behind the scenes view of the making of the rings.

Custom rings are something that King’s Jewelers enjoy doing for their couples. When couples purchase a custom engagement ring, they are given a custom coffee table book that shows the process of creating their ring.

And they even include the engagement, what a fabulous idea!!
We really enjoyed learning about King Jewelers and how well they take care of their diamonds as well as their customers. Here we are with the owner David King.

David decided to combine his love for diamonds and guitars to create these pieces.

The store was filled with some fabulous pieces!
A great place to purchase your engagement rings or other fine diamonds!

Southern Styled Shoot at Front Porch Farms
I wanted to feature the second part of a shoot I did at Front Porch Farms with Hurst Photography. The model Chelsea was amazing and rocked a gorgeous dress from The Bride Room!! Check out the first part here.
I wanted to keep the colors pretty neutral with a pop of color in the florals. Bonnie with Belles Fleurs knew exactly what I wanted and created a fabulous bouquet.
We wrapped the bouquet in lace and added a broach.
I think the table scape was my favorite, I like to keep things simple with special touches.

Jennifer with Something Detailed created all the stationary, which turned out perfect!
We created lots of southern touches, first with a “Love Is Sweet” sweets station.
Jo with Jo’s Custom Cakes and Catering made all the cupcakes and wedding cake for us. The wedding cake incorporated the burlap and lace perfectly.
Another southern touch, we added was a Sweet Tea station. We all know Southerns love sweet tea!
Last Southern touch was a classic Coca Cola float station.
Thanks to all the vendors that helped with this shoot!
The Groom’s Attire: Bow-Tie
When choosing the groom’s attire it’s important to take into consideration the time of day the wedding will be held in. Even though, I think bow-ties can work with formal or casual weddings. I personally love bow-ties, they look so dapper.
Here are two options for a grooms attire for a more casual wedding:
Here are two more grooms attire options for a formal wedding:
I found a great site that has the cutest bow-ties for grooms attire. Forage is a excellent site to find different bow-ties in a nice variety of colors.
