5 Mistakes Brides Make During the Planning Process
I realized while writing this blog entry that it’s my 400th post, YAY! I remember when I first starting writing blog entries and time sure has flown bye. So for my 400th post, I want to address 5 mistakes brides make during the planning process. These mistakes are ones that can help eliminate bigger issues on your wedding day and stress.
5. Not allowing yourself time to enjoy your engagement, before you jump into the planning process.
4. Not sending your invitations out 7-9 weeks before the wedding date.
This gives guest plenty of time to respond and you time to contact them, if they don’t RSVP.
3. Not allowing enough time for your photographer to take all the pictures you want.
2. Trying to micromanage your wedding vendors.
If you hire professional wedding vendors, trust them and let them do their job that you hired them to do. It will cut down on lots of unnecessary stress.
Top mistake many brides make and usually realize it after their wedding day.
1. Not hiring a professional wedding planner!
Enjoy your wedding day and the time to spend with your family, hire a wedding planner even if it’s for just the Day of the wedding.

Sneak Peek- Glamorous Memphis Wedding
I had the pleasure of working with LaQuisha and Chris on their glamorous Memphis wedding. I met LaQuisha when she was a bridesmaid in her sister-in-law’s wedding that I planned. Here are a couple sneak peeks from their photographer Barry Sharp, of their very wedding.
I fell in love with her pink and silver brooch bouquet!
Check back later for all the wedding details and vendors.
Emerald Green Wedding Inspiration
2013 Pantone color of the year is Emerald. Since it’s the color of the year, I wanted to create an Emerald Wedding Inspiration to give brides an ideas of how to mix it into their wedding colors.
I paired the emerald green color with a turquoise blue, a great combo for a Spring Nashville wedding. There are tons more options to pair the emerald green with, but I am really loving this pair.
